“I was arrested on the morning of Tuesday by two individuals who embarked me on a vehicle then blindfolded my eyes with a black band. After about fifteen minutes, they changed vehicle, then took me along to some building to undergo an interrogation there. There I was persecuted, beaten up, slapped, spat on and insulted. I was also slammed for hours with a tool on the head and the legs. This calvary lasted such a long time that I lost consciousness several times and also lost the notion of time. I was completely surprised to learn, when I was taken again to another location, that it was Wednesday ” : Fouad Mourtada .
Fouad Mourtada, 26 years old IT engineer, was arrested and imprisoned in Casablanca, Morocco, on Tuesday February 05 2008, for creating a fake profile on Facebook of his royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, brother of his Majesty the king Mohamed VI of Morocco.

This is a premiere in the world; there has never been such prosecution anywhere in the world.

There are on Facebook 41 Nicolas Sarkozy, 10 prince William of England, Many Jackes Chirac (Former France president), Roger Federer, Georges Bush, Osama Benladen and so on.

Fouad’s initiative was a pure innocent act without any personal gain or harmful intent. Since Facebook Launch on 2004, a big number of young adults in many countries profile public figures and stars on Facebook for reasons of admiration or entertainment, without malicious intent.

We ask the moroccan authorities to release FOUAD.

Windows XP SP2 came with a feature that limit concurrent TCP connection attempts that are possible to 10 per seconds.

It has been introduced in order to reduce the threat of computer worms spreading too fast without control, but it affect P2P programs (notably Torrent , eMule, ….) that need to open many outbound connections at the same time.

A patch is released by LvlLord.de for removing/changing the limit imposed on connection attempts in SP2. The patcher has the ability to restore tcpip.sys back to the original:

I bought a used Fujitsu-Siemens PCMCIA wireless card that i found very cheap 150 DH (about 15 euro) , After a googling I learn it use PrismGT a good Linux supported chipset .

but, i spent a lot of time to install it on my Debian sid/lenny x86_64 box :s

the problem is when i plug the card the ‘iwconfig’ give to me a ‘NOT READY’ :

and the lsmod revelead that debian had loaded the prism54 driver:

After a lot of googling i found that is was a firmware related problem.

cause the kernel could not load the firmware.

so i downloaded the prism54 from http://prism54.org/firmware/1.0.4.3.arm
