Windows XP SP2 came with a feature that limit concurrent TCP connection attempts that are possible to 10 per seconds.
It has been introduced in order to reduce the threat of computer worms spreading too fast without control, but it affect P2P programs (notably Torrent , eMule, ….) that need to open many outbound connections at the same time.
A patch is released by LvlLord.de for removing/changing the limit imposed on connection attempts in SP2. The patcher has the ability to restore tcpip.sys back to the original:

Hi,
I have the Windows xp sp2 package but it happens to unregistered and while executing the lvllord patch it asks for the xp installation cd(which i do not have). How do i go about it?
